Communities

We are committed to consulting with local communities and stakeholders as we progress through the consenting phase of the project.

This engagement is essential and will provide an opportunity for communities and stakeholders to be kept up to date on project developments and provide feedback which can improve our project design and delivery.

Consultation events

The next in person consultation events for the Broadshore Hub (the collective name for the Broadshore, Sinclair and Scaraben Wind Farms) will take place on:

  • 26th November 2024, 12 – 8pm: Longside Football Social Club
  • 27th November 2024, 12 – 8pm: Country Park Inn, Mintlaw

The consultation events will provide an opportunity to discuss the site selection process for the Broadshore Hub onshore substations, which has identified a number of possible locations within 5 km of the Netherton Hub (where the Broadshore Hub will connect into the National Electricity Transmission System). With the projects at an early stage of development, this is an ideal opportunity to provide feedback which could help shape the projects going forward.

A virtual consultation room will also be available online between Tuesday 26th November and Wednesday 4th December 2024  (inclusive) and can be accessed here.

If you have any questions about our projects you can contact us or register for project updates.
